J'ai entendu un savant qui parlait de la difficulté de la prière au travail et qui a proposé aux musulmans dans cette situation de passer un contrat avec leur boss, il les laisse faire salat et eux viennent travailler le samedi gratuitement...alors essayons, c'est mieux qu'au loto, c'est gratuit et ça peut rapporter gros :-) Quand au fameux "al amal ibada":"le travail et un acte d'adoration" c'est aussi faux et répandu que le fameux "houb al watan min al iman": "l'amour de la patrie fait partie de la foi"... As salamou alaykoum.

About the little flyer, a long explanation required , let me put it in point form. 1) the solat method in the flyer is called "solat in respect of time of solat" - only to be used in time of "darurah" or time of difficulty .Meaning that should we be in the position where there is no way we can wudu' and do a proper solat (standing and facing kiblat), we can do a solat for respecting that it is the time of solat, BUT we must qada' or redo our solat when condition permits. Therefor the solat is not perfect and according to syariah , thats why we must qada' or redo it. 2) If you can still perform wudu' and proper solat on a plane, then you CANNOT do this type of solat. In MAS aircraft, you can pray at the prayer area, so you dont have to perform the solat as in the little flyer. Personally, I have never solat as in the flyer because I always find time and space for solat. 3) For an example, 400 passengers in a plane with a subuh prayer time of 45 minutes only and the aircraft is shaking terribly due to turbulence, do you think all 400 can make it in 45 minutes?It is not safe to be standing up when the aircraft is shaking badly? Now, if we cant pray as normal, would we rather NOT PRAY or do the prayer as per the little flyer?? 4) the method of this type of solat is according to a situation in the prophet Mohamad (p.b.u.h) time where a sahabah/ companion of Rasulullah carried out the method. 5) Dont get angry with your friends, arguing is allowed for the sake of gathering information or increasing our knowledge.
