A chaque début et fin de ramadan, Edmonton, au Canada, illumine en vert le pont High Level, structure métallique emblématique de la ville. Ce ramadan ne fait pas exception. Dimanche, la municipalité a en effet annoncé sur son compte Twitter renouveler l’opération à l’occasion du début du mois béni.

En 2021, Siddi Chudal, un habitant d’Edmonton, a publié trois photos du pont illuminé. Trait d’union entre les deux rives de la rivière Saskatchewan, l’ouvrage, d’une longueur de 77 mètres, a été construit voilà 110 ans.
